For dogs 5 months & younger
The puppy is here and you’ve realized you don’t speak the same language! This class focuses not only on the beginner side of puppy behaviour training and obedience understanding. Obedience is important if you want to use human language to get a direct response but what about when your dog isn’t being told directly what to do? How do they respond to visitors, excitement, your boundaries or even know when to rest?
This class focuses on learning how to get the behaviours we want from our dog and how to use some obedience commands functionally.
We will also learn how their brains function and how to communicate effectively. We will set conversations, teachings and goals around how to raise the dog you want from the start. And exploring the why in everything we learn in do allowing the dog
to be truly who they are.
We will cover topics like
How to play to build relationship and positive behaviours
Learning consent for dogs vs humans
Curbing inappropriate play, biting and jumping
Sit, wait, down, recall, settle
Name learning and use
Common questions and mistakes
Raising the dog you hope for; be a confident owner; get a confident dog
